Our Be Kind Like Madison Bottles & Bags Bingo was a tremendous success! On September 12, 2026, Majors Barn was filled with laughter, excitement, generosity, and so many people coming together to support the Madison J. Smallwood Foundation.

Our guests came ready to have fun—and they certainly did! From cheering for bingo winners and bidding on silent auction items to purchasing additional boards, raffle tickets, and 50/50 tickets, every part of the evening helped further our mission.

This wonderful night would not have been possible without the many people who generously gave their time and talents.

A heartfelt thank-you to Dave Grant, our amazing announcer, for keeping the games moving and everyone entertained; Brian West, our bartender extraordinaire, for keeping the drinks flowing and our guests laughing; and Mike Tilton, who somehow sold an incredible number of 50/50 tickets without ever leaving his spot!

We are also incredibly grateful to Emily Praeter and Emily Tilton for helping keep the event organized, capturing special moments, assisting our guests, and stepping in wherever they were needed.
Thank you to Landon, Henry, and Adam for helping with setup, helping throughout the event, and staying through cleanup. We also appreciate Andrew, Cole, Colin, and Aidan for giving their time to help us set up.

To my mom, Connie, Heather, Jason, Nick, our board members Shannah & Bella (who worked quietly behind the scenes) —thank you. Events like this require countless details and helping hands, and we simply could not have done it without you.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, purchased extra boards and tickets, bid on auction items, cheered for our winners, and showed up to support our foundation.
This foundation exists because of Madison. Every scholarship we award, every family we assist, and every act of kindness performed in her name allows her beautiful heart and legacy to continue making a difference.

There were also a few moments that felt especially meaningful.

A beautiful rainbow appeared just before bingo began. Later that evening, I somehow won the Bonus Round Louis Vuitton—and I am still in disbelief! From the rainbow to that unforgettable win, I couldn’t help but feel that Madison was right there with me, smiling every step of the way.
As I looked around the room, I saw people having fun, showing kindness, and supporting something that means the absolute world to me. I know Madison would have loved every minute of it.

I love you, sweet girl. You are missed more than words could ever express, but you will never, ever be forgotten.
