12 Days of Madison
The 12 Days of Madison began in 2019 to honor Madison’s first heavenly birthday by helping others—the perfect way to celebrate a girl whose heart was always filled with kindness.
In the beginning, I selected local children who had recently been diagnosed with cancer and raised money to support their families during the holidays. While it was incredibly rewarding, it became harder each year to watch these children experience so much of what Madison endured. Sadly, many of them have also become ANGELS, just like my sweet girl.
This year, Madison would be turning 20. She made me a mom first and helped shape me into the person I am today. It is so hard to believe she would be 20!

Be Kind Like Madison, just want to THANK YOU! Thank you for celebrating Madison’s 19th birthday during the 12 Days of Madison. We are excited to announce that we raised approximately $3,000 and will use these funds to provide support for local families fighting cancer and give out annual Madison J. Smallwood Foundation Scholarships.
